Our Story…
Bahamatude is a therapeutic setting to relax and refresh. Just being on the island of Eleuthera encourages us to enjoy the experience of living. It helps us to live simply and get away from overthinking.
Bahamatude is a charming cliff side, waterfront property tucked away in a quiet area near Surfer’s Beach. It has widespread views of the luminescent blue waters on the leeward side of Eleuthera, where you will always see turtles swimming around. The studios are reminiscent of cabinas in Costa Rica. It is a good choice if you want reasonable prices, central location and close access to the surf.
The property has native trees and flora with a walking path that gently slopes toward the cliff. You are guaranteed to encounter breathtaking sunsets as you relax toward the end of the day with a cool refreshing beverage and welcome another delightful evening.
This awareness, free from an inside or an outside, is open like the sky…Within the vast and open space of this all-embracing mind, all phenomena manifest like rainbows.

We are located just south of the quaint settlement of Gregory Town where you will find shops, groceries, restaurants and the annual Pineapple Festival. Nearby attractions are the unique Glass Window Bridge, famous Surfers Beach, Queens Baths and the exclusive Cove Resort. Two international airports are just a 15 or 20 minute drive, with both domestic and international flights daily. Fun day trips by ferry to Harbour Island and Spanish Wells are popular and you can rent golf carts there to ramble around.
The therapist’s vacation home, Ocean Jasper, has the same views and therapeutic retreats happen periodically. Check out Dr. Robin Hanna’s facebook page to see the orientation of the counseling in Vero Beach, Florida. Recent retreats in the BAHAMAS were for detox, mindfulness to help with bipolar disorder as well as divorce recovery.
